First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has sent her congratulatory message to the Super Eagles of Nigeria after “securing a well-deserved spot in the AFCON finals!”.

Nigeria beat South Africa 4-2 on penalties in the semi final match at Stade Bouaké on Wednesday 7 February, 2024; following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.
She said, “Congratulations to our remarkable Super Eagles on the victory against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana”, adding, “your unwavering dedication and stellar performance make us proud”.
Nigeria will play against host, Ivory Coast, in the final of the AFCON 2023 on Sunday 11 February, 2024.
She prayed, “continue to soar, Super Eagles.”
