In her message, she said, the Governor of Plateau State left his State to “pay homage to Tinubu in Lagos while his people were being killed.”

According to 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, the killings in Plateau State which “occurred on Christmas day is a mindless act of terrorism”.

Reports say, more than one hundred (100) people lost their lives, while more than 300 sustained various degree of injury.

Aisha Yesufu wrote: “Dear Plateau State Governor

Kindly inform the people who say they work for you to desist from calling me over the video I did on you going to Lagos to pay homage to Tinubu while your people were being killed. Like I said to the one that called me yesterday and also the one that called me today, I am not a journalist and not in the business of hearing from anyone’s side before I put out my thoughts. Neither am I in the business of calling any politician to get their view before I do my video.

Yesterday I laughed over it and put it down to an overzealous worker trying to fix things. Today I am really angry at what is being insinuated.

Let us maintain our lanes, you as a public servant with a duty to serve his people and me as private citizen with a big mouth!

#PlateauLivesMatter “
