AFCON 2023: Nigeria V Cameroon – ‘Ready for clash’ – Super Eagles

The Super Eagles have declared their readiness to do battle with neighbours, Cameroon, in the round of 16 encounter of the 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON).

Nigeria will face Cameroon today, Saturday 27 January, 2024, 21:00 (WAT).

The Super Eagles wrote: “ready for tomorrow’s clash.”

Nigeria drew 1-1 against Equatorial Guinea, defeated host nation, Ivory Coast, by a lone goal, with defender William Troost-Ekong netting from the penalty spot, and went ahead to clinch a lone goal win over Guinea-Bissau, to amass seven (7) points and finish second in Group A.

Finishing second in Group A earned Nigeria a spot in the round of 16 for a clash against Cameroon.
