Pep Guardiola made changes as Manchester City rounded off a perfect Champions League group campaign for another year at Crvena Zvezda. His decision to give youngster Micah Hamilton his first senior start paid off when the 20-year-old scored a superb debut goal after 19 minutes.

Norwegian striker Oscar Bobb made his Champions League debut and also marked it with a goal – a superb second-half curler – before Red Star made a game of it with a reply from Hwang. Kalvin Phillips converted a penalty to restore a two-goal lead although the hosts pulled another back in injury time through Katai.
City are in Belgrade for their final Group G game, having already secured top spot, and Red Star know they will finish bottom of the group. As a result, Guardiola has confirmed he will rotate his squad to give players who haven’t featured as much recently a chance to impress.
