Erik Ten Hag’s men conceded three goals right on their turf as Magpies cruise into the quarter finals of the tournament.
Miguel Almiron, Lewis Hall and Joe Willock scored the goals for Eddie Howe’s side in the 28th, 36th and 60th minutes respectively.
With this outcome, holders, Manchester United, are kicked out while Newcastle United progress to next round.
Newcastle United had by far the better of the first forty-five (45) minutes, better organised and more committed than an unserious-looking Manchester United.
