Supreme Court affirms Tinubu as President: ‘Heartfelt congratulations on your victory’ – Governor Abiodun

Executive Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has extended his “heartfelt congratulations” to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on his victory at the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court affirmed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday 26 October, 2023 after dismissing the appeals by 2023 Presidential candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party (LP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

Governor Abiodun said: “We’re extending our heartfelt congratulations to our President, @officialABAT – GCFR, on the recent affirmation of his victory in the February 25th presidential election by the Supreme Court, the apex court of the land.


“This momentous decision by the Supreme Court serves as a clear testament to the fact that President Tinubu has been entrusted with the people’s mandate, as evidenced by the polls. It affirms the support and trust that the citizens have placed in his leadership and vision for our nation.


“We take immense pride in President Tinubu’s achievement, as it reflects his unwavering dedication to the progress and development of our country. It is a testament to his tireless efforts, exceptional ability, and unwavering commitment to serving the best interests of the people.
