Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Rishi Sunak, disclosed, he spoke with President of Egypt, El-Sisi “to confront the evil of terrorism”.

Sunak said he spoke with El-Sisi “following the appalling terrorist atrocities carried out by Hamas in Israel”.
The fighting between Hamas and Israel started in the early hours of Saturday 7 October, 2023 after Hamas infiltrated and launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing several Israelis and taking many others hostage.
Sunak said: “I spoke to President el-Sisi of Egypt this morning following the appalling terrorist atrocities carried out by Hamas in Israel.
“As we confront the evil of terrorism, we are working closely with international partners to ensure regional security and stability.”
