Bayern Munich made light work of their hosts, thrashing them by four goals to nothing.
The Englishman scored and assisted on his top flight debut for the Bavarians as they clinched all three points from the encounter.
Leroy Sane opened scoring very early for the visitors, in the 4th minute, and Kane made it two in the 74th minute.
Sane added the third in the 90th minute and Mathys Tel sealed victory for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Kane told DAZN: “I was a little bit nervous [and] excited to play the game of course.
“We started well with a goal in the first few minutes. For sure there were a few butterflies, but as always when I get on the pitch, instinct takes over.”
Kane would have clinched his first ever title when Bayern Munich faced RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup 2023 final, however, the Bavarians were himiliated by the Red Bulls 0-3 at the Allianz Arena.
