Marco, How do you feel after signing for Paris Saint-Germain?
“I’m very happy to be here, to be at this big club. I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates, seeing the training centre, and meeting the fans. I can wait for the season to start.”
After seven season with Real Madrid, why did you decide to join Paris Saint-Germain?
“Because Paris are a great club, a big project, an attractive and ambitious project. And that corresponds to what I needed: a change of environment, but still with an ambitious project. That’s what I wanted, and I think it’s the ideal place for me, to play, to enjoy it, and to win a lot of trophies.”
Do you know Ligue 1? What do you know about our League?
“I would say it’s a competitive league with a lot of physical intensity, but also a lot of talented players. Everyone knows French players are very talented. That’s a bit of what I know about Ligue 1.”
How would you describe yourself as a player? What are your qualities?
“I’m a player that likes to go forward, who likes to have the ball, to make assists and score goals. As for my strengths, I think my shot and my vision.”
What are your individual and collective goals?
“The collective goals are to win every trophy possible. This is a great team, a big club. I’ve come here to play already, and I’ve seen the great fans, the fantastic atmosphere in the stadium. From a personal point of view, it’s a new challenge, a new league. I have a lot of determination and ambition. And now I’m looking forward to discovering all that and hoping it goes well.”

“I’m very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain. I’m looking forward to discovering the city, to meeting you all, and learning French. I’ll give everything for the club. I’m certain we can win trophies.”
