Late Chief Michael Olasubomi Balogun was the Chairman of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB), as well as a member of the council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The former Governor of Anambra State said, the Late Nigerian Banker’s “obvious footprints in the nation will remain visible for generations to come”.
He made these statements when he joined the family of the Late Nigerian Philanthropist “for the Thanksgiving service marking the end of the mourning period for the very revered Nigerian” on Sunday 16 July, 2023.
Obi said: “Today, I joined the family of Late Chief Michael Olasubomi Balogun in Lagos, for the thanksgiving service marking the end of the mourning period for the very revered Nigerian. He will be greatly missed by all.
“He was a man whose legacies will always be remembered and his obvious footprints in the nation will remain visible for generations to come. His life was a reflection of hard work and enterprise for National growth and development which are very vital lessons for Nigerians.
“May God continue to comfort the family he left behind and may he continue to rest in peace.”
