The former Governor of Anambra State also disclosed, “straight from the court’s sitting, I attended the burial of my late dear friend, Mr Emeka Ofamata at Nnewi, Anambra State”.
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has been adjourned “until Monday the 5th of June, 2023”, Obi disclosed.
He said: “As usual, today I attended the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal at the Court of Appeal in Abuja. Today’s proceedings went well and at the end, the case was adjourned until Monday the 5th of June, 2023. I’m continually gratified by the efforts of our legal team.
“Straight from the court’s sitting, I attended the burial of my late dear friend, Mr Emeka Ofamata at Nnewi, Anambra State. I wish the Ofamata Family the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss, and pray that the Almighty God who called him home,
“at this time, will grant him eternal rest.”
