Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant on Digital Communication to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has come out to bare his mind at the Kano State Government after the demolition of the Kano Golden Jubilee Roundabout.

He said, “I am yet to see any justifiable reason” for the action, describing the structure as “most beautiful and well-known monuments in Kano in recent years”.
Ahmad further said, the Kano Golden Jubilee Roundabout “shouldn’t have been destroyed unjustifiably”.
He said: “I am yet to see any justifiable reason for the demolition of the Kano Golden Jubilee Roundabout by the State Government. The structure was one of the most beautiful and well-known monuments in Kano in recent years. The historic monument, symbolizing our dear state, shouldn’t have been destroyed unjustifiably. Gaskiya ba a kyauta mana ba.”
