Werder Bremen V Bayern Munich: ‘Goretzka suspended, Choupo-Moting will be absent’ – Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel, Bayern Munich manager, has given an update on his team ahead of the Bundesliga match between Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich.

Werder Bremen will welcome Bayern Munich in a Bundesliga encounter on Saturday 6 May, 2023.

Bayern Munich returned to the top spot of the Bundesliga table after a 2-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Sunday 30 April, 2023.

The erstwhile Chelsea manager disclosed some of his players will not field against Werder Bremen tomorrow.

Tuchel said, Leon Goretzka has been “suspended”, Dayot Upamecano “will be missing” and Cameroonian striker, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting “will be absent” when they field against the River Islanders at 17:30 (Nigerian Time) on Saturday.

In his update on his squad, the former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) manager said: “Dayot Upamecano will be missing and 

@leongoretzka_ is suspended. Josip Stanišić is out with an adductor tear, and he will probably need a couple of weeks. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and 

@AlphonsoDavies will also be absent.”
