The 2023 Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja commenced pre-hearing on Monday 8 May, 2023 into the case of some political parties who are challenging the outcome of the 2023 Presidential Election conducted on Saturday 25 February, 2023.

The 2023 Presidential Election which was tightly-contested produced ruling All Progressives Congress candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as winner.
Tinubu discomfited Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP); as well as other presidential candidates of other Political Parties.
Top contenders, Atiku and Obi have rejected the result and are challenging the outcome in court.

- Justice Stephen Adah of the Court of Appeal Asaba division
- Justice Misitura Bolaji-Yusuf, Court of Appeal also of Asaba Division

- Justice Abba Mohammed of Ibadan Court of Appeal
