Abike Dabiri-Erewa has been reappointed for a second term as Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Her reappointment notice was contained in a letter by President Buhari to the Senate requesting the Upper Chamber to approve her reappointment.
President Buhari, in November 2018, first named Abike Dabiri-Erewa as Chairman of NIDCOM.
Before the appointment, she was Senior Special Adviser to the President on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.
