Gerry Cardinale, owner of AC Milan, has sent a special message to Stefano Pioli and his squad following their qualification to the semi finals of the Uefa Champions League 2022/23.

AC Milan overpowered SSC Napoli in the quarter final of the tournament to reach the last four stage.
The Rossoneri clinched a 1-0 victory over the Partenopei at the San Siro in the first leg, while the second leg ended 1-1 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples.
Olivier Giroud scored for AC Milan in the 43rd minute and Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen levelled for Napoli in the 3rd minute of additional time.
The quarter final tie ended 2-1 on aggregate in favour of Stefano Pioli’s side.
With this outcome, AC Milan will face either Inter or Benfica in the semi final of the continental comeptition.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Cardinale said: “Thank you guys. I am so proud of you and the boys. Really well done. You make us all proud with this hard-fought victory. Please send my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our players, coaching staff and the whole team.
