Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s President-elect, has sent a condolence message to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, “over the passing of his wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu”.

According to a statement released on Monday 3 April, 2023, by the former Governor of Abia State, his wife, Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu died at the age of 61.
Tinubu, in his condolence message, said, “be consoled by the memories of the good times you both shared”.
He said: “I prayed that God Almighty console Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, over the over the passing of his wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu. Be consoled by the memories of the good times you both shared and the fact that late Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu lived most of her life in the service of God and humanity.”
