Chelsea lost by two goals to nil to Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge in the Uefa Champions League 2022/23 quarter final second leg.

Rodrygo netted both goals for rhe Spanish La Liga Kings.

The outcome led to Chelsea’s exit from the continental tournament.

The Blues had fallen in the first leg by two goals to nothing at the Santiago Bernabeu in Spain to Real Madrid – making it a 4-0 aggregate triumph for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

English midfielder, Gallagher, has bared his mind after the home loss to their Spanish visitors.

He said: “We had the better chances but football is all about taking them.”
