Thomas Tuchel’s reign as Bayern Munich manager took off to a beautiful start as the Bavarians discomfited Borussia Dortmund 4-2 in Der Klassiker.

Bayern Munich scored three times in ten minutes in the first half, with Thomas Muller finding the back of the net twice.

Kingsley Coman made it four for the hosts, Gregor Kobel hit the back of this own net to hand Bayern the lead.

Emre Can and Donyell Malen netted consolations for the visitors.
