According to the National Population Commission (NPC), the Chairman of the Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, paid a courtesy visit to the National Security Adviser (NSA) and Chairman of the National Census Security and Logistics Committee, Major Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.) in his office in Abuja.

The reason for the visit yesterday, Wednesday 26 April, 2023, was to “discuss security and logistics issues” as concerns the approaching 2023 Population and Housing Census.
The NPC disclosed: “Yesterday, the NPC Chairman, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra and his team paid a courtesy visit to the National Security Adviser and Chairman of the National Census Security and Logistics Committee, Major Gen. Babagana Monguno (rtd.) in his office in Abuja.
“The visit was to discuss security and logistics issues regarding the upcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census.”
