He said the move “keys into one of the major pillars of our administration”, and will make the community safer.

Governor Makinde “directed that the new station should be given an operational vehicle just like the 74 other divisional police headquarters”.

In his remarks at the event, Governor Seyi Makinde said: “We commissioned a police station constructed for the Olorunda-Abaa community by the Agbaakin of Olorunda-Abaa, Oloye Benedict Akika. This keys into one of the major pillars of our administration, Security, and will contribute towards making the community safer.

“I directed that the new station should be given an operational vehicle just like the 74 other divisional police headquarters we handed over vehicles to. I also thanked our people in Olorunda-Abaa for their support and assured them that we will award their road project before the end of our first tenure.”
