Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, paid Ilesha a visit where he inspected the University of Ilesha.

While carrying out the inspection of the Academic institution, Governor Adeleke revealed that “the previous admin rushed to establish the University for political reasons”, further saying, due process was not followed in the establishment of the University.
Governor Adeleke “expressed displeasure over the poor state of the facilities” of the University.
He said: “We visited Ilesha to inspect the University of Ilesha. The previous admin rushed to establish the University for political reasons without following the due process. I assured the people of my commitment to make the University a reality as promised during my campaign.
“I expressed my displeasure over the poor state of the facilities. We have received the committee report and we will soon start with the implementation. I also seized the opportunity to assure the people that our administration will resuscitate the water project in Ilesha.”
