Bayern Munich defeated Augsburg by five goals to three at the Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga match on Saturday 11 March to add more strength to their spot at the top of the table.

The Bavarians got a scare when Mergim Berisha scored after just two minutes, however, the champions quickly responded through Joao Cancelo.
Two brilliant Benjamin Pavard goals made it 3-1 and Leroy Sane popped up to head home a loose ball right before the break.
Augsburg made four half-time changes. Berisha reduced the arrears with a penalty. Alphonso Davies netted the fifth for the hosts.

Irvin Cardona scored the third for the visitors with virtually the last kick of the encounter.
