Governor Adeleke made this statement after delivering “Presidential election, all Senate seats, all rep seats and all house of Assembly seats to the PDP” in the just concluded 2023 Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections.
The 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections were conducted on Saturday 25 February, 2023 while the 2023 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections were conducted on Saturday 18 March, 2023.
However, in Osun State, the Governorship election had already been conducted sometime in 2022. Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) defeated Adegboyega Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to emerge the current Governor of the Southwestern State.
