Governor Uzodimma assured “ndi Imo” that the “Government has put in place, adequate measures to guarantee a conducive environment” for the forthcoming State Assembly Elections.
Ndi Imo will “exercise their civic duty on 11th of March 2023”, the day of the State Assembly Elections.
Governor Uzodimma said: “As we prepare for the State Assembly Elections in our State, I admonished ndi Imo to be more realistic than sentimental in our approach to national politics and by extension, elections.
“I stated this while addressing the congregants after the Holy Eucharist celebration at the Govt. House Chapel, Owerri. My message, which was quite direct to the leadership & membership of our great party, APC, is as well applicable to other partisan politicians.
“With an understanding that in every contest, there can only be a winner, I appealed to those whose candidates lost at the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly Elections, to remain law-abiding as they exercise their civic duty on 11th of March 2023.
“Rest assured that the Government has put in place, adequate measures to guarantee a conducive environment for the successful conduct of the elections.”
