Russia-Ukraine: Russia fires missiles over Moldova in latest attack on Ukraine

Russia has fired missiles that crossed the airspace of Moldova in latest strikes on Ukraine, as disclosed by Ukrainian and Moldovan officials.

As revealed by Kyiv’s top General, two missiles fired from the Black Sea flew through the neighboring country.

Questions concerning the incident were deviated by a spokesperson of the Russian government.

Russian ambassador has been summoned by Moldova.

The Air Force of Ukraine said it shot down 61 out of 71 missiles fired in Friday’s attack.

This is happening some hours after Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky had a meeting with Leaders of the European Union (EU), where he requested for fighter jets to repel the Russian invasion.

Ukraine is suffering more blackouts after energy facilities were targeted in several regions, this has caused more than 120,000 homes in eastern Kharkiv to be without electricity.

Explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, as residents were urged to take protection in the city’s metro system.

Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia as well as other regions suffered attack.
