Manchester United earned an important 2-1 win against a stubborn Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes netted the opener with a first-half strike from the penalty spot, before Marcus Rashford made it 2-0 early in the second.

A match dominated by United threatened to be turned on its head minutes later though, when Casemiro was shown a red card following a melee involving multiple players.
