Manchester United Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen, is hoping the club can clinch more trophies before the end of the 2022/23 season.

The midfielder was able to join his teammates in celebration after the club defeated Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup 2023 final at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday 26 February, 2023.
The victory handed Red Devils Dutch Manager, Erik Ten Hag, his first trophy in his first season as head coach of the club, also it was Manchester United’s first major trophy in six years.
Eriksen who picked up an ankle injury, has undergone surgery and on the road to recovery.
Manager Ten Hag disclosed the Denmark international can return before the end of the season.
Eriksen told MUTV pitchside at Wembley, “I’m feeling well. I mean it’s always boring to be in the boot and being on crutches but I’ve left the crutches now and am only on the boot.
“Next week, it should be gone and I’ll be finally learning to walk! No, it feels good.”
When quizzed if he can still feature in a final this term, Eriksen answered: “Yeah, definitely. Before it was four but it’s now three and we’ve taken one. But there are so many games in between, before the next final. There will be a longer build-up if we get there. For me, there’s a lot of hard work coming back, getting my place back in the team, as I mean the team is performing and the guys are winning. So it’s a pleasure to watch.”
