Liverpool Dutch centre-back Virgil Van Dijk is to see a specialist to carry out an assessment on the extent of his hamstring injury.

Van Dijk, who has featured for Liverpool in all the League games this season was substituted at halftime in Monday’s encounter against Brentford, a game which the Reds lost.
It is not yet ascertained how long the Netherlands defender will be out for, however, the injury looks more serious than initially thought.
Other centre-back options for Jurgen Klopp’s side includes Ibrahim Konate, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Nathaniel Phillips.
