FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: Brazil 4-1 South Korea – Tournament favourites bounce into quarter finals

The South Americans were so full of confidence as they hit the back of the net four times within 36 minutes of play.

Vinicius Junior opened scoring for the Selecao Canarinho early in the 7th minute before Neymar placed his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot in the 13th minute.

Richarlison made it three for Brazil in the 29th minute and Lucas Paqueta volleyed in the fourth in the 36th minute.

In the second half, Brazil slowed pressure down and the South Koreans were able to pull one back in the 76th minute via substitute Paik Seung-Ho.

With this outcome, Brazil have reached the quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 to lock horns with Croatia, who fought hard to clinch victory over Japan on penalties.
