Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma had already given the go-ahead to any political party that wishes to make use of any of the state’s facilities for its campaign to freely do so.
The approval to use any state-owned facility would not be withheld from any political party.
Peter Obi alongside his running mate Ahmed Datti were in Imo State, South East, Nigeria, for the Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign for the 2023 presidential election.
The Labour Party (LP) presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi, has two other top contenders in the 2023 presidential elections to lock horns with, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The former Anambra State Governor did not forget to express gratitude to the people of Imo State for their “awesome reception”.
Obi took to social media platform, Twitter, and wrote: “Imo and Owerri rock !!!
“Thank you my people, for the awesome reception.”
