The Blues survived an early scare to clinch their 100th Uefa Champions League win as they secured the top position of Group E even before kick off.

Graham Potter’s side scaled through into the knockout stage of the competition winning four matches out of their six preliminaries.

The Croatian visitors took the lead early in the 7th minute when Bruno Petkovic nodded home the first chance of the game.

Raheem Sterling grabbed his first goal for Chelsea in nine games as he levelled for Chelsea just ten minutes after the visitors took the lead.

Dennis Zakaria, making his debut following a summer loan move from Juventus, found the bottom corner from near the penalty spot.
