With this outcome, Barcelona have now moved five points clear atop the La Liga table.

Pique, 35, despite being on the bench was dismissed after appearing to disapprove with the referee’s decision.

The center-back was angered by the referee’s decision to show Polish striker Robert Lewandowski a second yellow card in the 31st minute.

David Garcia gave Osasuna an early lead in the 6th minute before Pedri Gonzalez and Raphinha struck for the Catalans in the 48th and 85th minutes respectively.

Lewandowski was sent off for an aerial challenge with Garcia. It’s the second time the striker is being dismissed in his career.
