In a group containing Rangers, Liverpool and Ajax, Napoli have emerged as the runaway leaders and has reached the halfway point of the group stage on top, with a clean sweep of victories.
Ajax have never conceded five goals in Amsterdam in their entire history in Europe, and have only conceded five goals in total once, as visitors to Bayern Munich in 1980 (5-1).
Kudus gave Ajax an early lead, and was one of the only players for the Dutch side on the night, who deserves any credit.

That was as far as they lasted. Raspadori equalised in the 18th minute, Di Lorenzo gave Napoli the lead in the 33rd minute and Zielinski increased the advantage to 3-1 just before half-time.
It was only the second time Ajax had conceded three goals in the first half in the Champions League. And in the second half came three more.
