AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud opened scoring for France just a minute to halftime and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward, Kylian Mbappe, recorded his name twice on the scoresheet in the 74th minute and the first minute of additional time.

Spanish La Liga club Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski, pulled one back for Poland very late in the 9th minute of additional time.

Giroud, after scoring against the White-Reds, has now become France’s all-time leading men’s goalscorer.
