The country is currently passing through the “world’s worst hunger crisis”, the United Nations (UN) said.

The unrest in Sudan is as a result of the fighting between the Sudanese Army and the Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Duaa Tariq, humanitarian worker, told the BBC, when trucks loaded with aid arrived in south Khartoum on Thursday, there were “tears of laughter and joy”.

Aid Agencies have been complaining that, road blocks and security threats placed by the fighting sides have obstructed vital deliveries.
