The Sao Paulo Hospital where the 82-year old is being treated, disclosed, Brazil Legend, Pele’s cancer has advanced.

Pele, who has won the World Cup three times has been in hospital for three weeks.
His daughter wrote on Instagram that, the Brazil football icon will spend Christmas in the hospital.
The Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, via a statement, said, Pele “requires greater care related to renal and cardiac dysfunctions” because of the “cancer progression”.
In September 2021, Pele has a tumour removed from his colon and has had constant treatment since.
Kely Nascimento, Pele’s daughter wrote: “Our Christmas at home has been suspended.
“We decided with the doctors that, for various reasons, it would be better for us to stay here with all the care that this new family at Einstein gives us.
“We, as always, thank you for all the love you show us here in Brazil as well as around the world!
“Your love for him and your stories and prayers are a HUGE comfort because we know we are not alone.

“We wish everyone who celebrates a Christmas that filled with family, full of children, some fighting and TONS of Love and Health !!
“We love you, we will give you an update next week.”
Pele “had a good response to treatment for respiratory infection care” and added he was undergoing a “reassessment of chemotherapy treatment”, a statement issued by the hospital a short while after he was admitted.
