English Premier League club Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Netherlands forward, Cody Gakpo, from PSV Eindhoven, the Dutch Eredivisie club says.

23-year old Gakpo had a beautiful FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The forward scored three goals to help Netherlands reach the quarter finals of the tournament.
The fee for the forward is expected to reach 40m-50m euros.
According to PSV Eindhoven, Cody Gakpo will travel to England for the completion of the deal.
The club further revealed, the deal would be a record transfer for them.
A statement from PSV Eindhoven said, “the PSV management completed the negotiations on Boxing Day and gave Gakpo permission to travel to England.”
Gakpo has been in an amazing form this season for PSV, scoring nine goals and providing twelve assists in 14 League matches.
The Dutch club tweeted: “PSV and @LFC have reached an agreement on the proposed transfer of Cody Gakpo.
“The 23-year-old attacker will leave for England imminently where he will be subjected to the necessary formalities ahead of the completion of the transfer.”
