The Blues discomfited their visitors 2-0 to boost their hopes for a place in the top four.
Chelsea have failed to find the back of the net in three consecutive matches prior to the break for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
The Blues netted their first goal in the 16th minute through German forward Kai Havertz after converting Raheem Sterling’s low cross.
On his 150th appearance for Chelsea, Mason Mount sealed victory for Graham Potter’s side in the 24th minute.
