The 2023 Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has sent his new year message of “peace” to Nigerians.

Tinubu in his new year message to Nigerians, said, “let us remember at all times to live in peace”. Also pleading with “us to look beyond ethnic differences” and live as “one people, under one flag”.
In the full new year message to Nigerians, titled “WELCOME TO 2023 – THE YEAR OF THE RENEWED HOPE”, the former Governor of Lagos State said: “Last year, I identified, as one of our major problems, a lack of peace and an absence of unity. In this new year, let us set aside discord and put away our differences. Let us, instead, chart a course of progress and development for our great nation through constructive discourse and the intellectual exchange of ideas.
“As we go into 2023, let us remember at all times to live in peace. Let us look beyond ethnic, tribal and religious differences and remember that we are one people, United under one flag. Nigerians.
“Let us together, reach for our nation’s best destiny.
“I wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2023 in peace and good health, in progress and in unity.”
