The Glazer family, who are Owners of the Old Trafford club, plan to “explore strategic alternatives”, thereby, putting up the English giants for sale.
There is uncertainty concerning interest for Manchester United from Qatar and so far there has been only one declaration from businessman Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe is one of the richest men in Britain, he is keen on buying Manchester United and it is understood that he has gone ahead to employ the services of banking experts JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs to assist him.
But, there is a rising feeling that a Qatari bid would be launched, however, it might look difficult.
