Naira Redesign: Trouble in Mile 12, Agege over cash scarcity

There was heavy gunshots on Friday at Ojota, Ketu and Mile 12 areas of Lagos as irate youths blocked the Ikorodu expressway over biting naira scarcity.

Youths stopped motorists from plying the ever-busy road as they burnt tyres on the roads and vandalised properties.

The riot broke out in the morning as hoodlums unleashed mayhem, motorists were making U-turn to avoid being caught in the crisis.

Lagos State Police Command, Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the troubles in Lagos, he said “it is true” ⬇️
