Photos 👇 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has come out to plead with Obidients in Edo State to go ahead and “extend the same support” they showered him with to the 2023 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly candidates of the Party.
The 2023 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections has been rescheduled to take place on Saturday 18 March, 2023 after it was initially scheduled for Saturday 11 March, 2023.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially made the announcement of the rescheduling of the 2033 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections, explaining it was for the reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) which was used for the 2023 Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday 25 February, 2023.
With Obidients in Edo State, Peter Obi expressed “profound gratitude” for their massive love and support all through.
The former Anambra State Governor said: “I passed through Edo state today. I stopped by briefly to express my profound gratitude to the OBIdients for their support and asked them to extend same to the Governorship and House of Assembly candidates.”
