In his condolence message to the Adefarasin family, Peter Obi said: “I continue to condole with the Adefarasin family, especially Pastor Wale, Pastor Paul and their entire family, as they bury their beloved mother, Mrs Hilda Adefarasin, today.
“Indeed, she will be sadly missed for her central role as a mother in the family and in the Church. Nevertheless, her funeral rites are a celebration of a life well lived, and her family should be consoled by her rich legacy of contributions to womenfolk and to humanity,
“which are worthy of emulation. In recognition of women’s capacity to make fundamental contributions to society, I remain committed to 40% Affirmative Action for women in political appointments and will encourage the same in the Corporate world.
“God bless the Adefarasin family always, and may the soul of their beloved mother rest in peace.”
