Festus Keyamo, Official Spokesperson for Campaign Council of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has come out to say that, he has “NEVER in my life written or promoted one tribe over another, even in campaigns”.

He further said, he “TOTALLY deplore tribal politics”, adding “I HAVE JUST DELIVERED MY ENTIRE UVWIE LGA OF DELTA STATE TO THE APC”.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged President-elect of Nigeria after winning the 2023 Presidential election conducted on Saturday 25 February, 2023.
Tinubu discomfited Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP); alongside other Presidential candidates of other Political Parties, in the tightly-contested 2023 Presidential election.
The former Governor of Lagos State was declared winner and handed his Certificate of Return by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
Festus Keyamo said: “I TOTALLY deplore tribal politics. I am a product of different regions of Nigeria. I’ve NEVER in my life written or promoted one tribe over another, even in campaigns. No one should ever rile a whole tribe & this applies to all sides – North/South/East/West in Nigeria’s politics.
“I HAVE JUST DELIVERED MY ENTIRE UVWIE LGA OF DELTA STATE TO THE APC: GOVERNORSHIP: APC: 11,036; PDP 8,802; LABOUR: 5,495…. House: APC 9,947; PDP 9,765; LABOUR 7,811. We bless God.”
