Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President of Nigeria, has sent his “heartfelt condolences to Senator Orji Kalu” following the demise of his wife, Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu.

She died at the age of 61 as disclosed by the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu on his official Facebook account on Monday 3 April, 2023.
Atiku, 2023 Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), said, he is “deeply heartbroken by the news of Mrs Ifeoma Kalu’s passing”.
The Waziri Adamawa said: “I am deeply heartbroken by the news of Mrs Ifeoma Kalu’s passing. A loving wife, mother, and pillar of strength, her radiant spirit touched countless lives.
“My heartfelt condolences to her dear husband—the Senate Chief Whip and former governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Kalu and his family during this time of immense sorrow. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.”
