Oshiomhole at 71: ‘I celebrate my friend who made his mark as party leader’ – Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria’s President-elect, celebrates Adams Oshiomhole “on the occasion of his 71st birthday”.

The former Governor of Lagos State described Oshiomhole as “a man of courage”, adding he “made his mark as labour leader and party leader”.

Oshiomhole, born 4 April 1954, was former National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC); and governed Edo State for eight years from 2008 to 2016.

In his message in part, Tinubu said: “Today, I celebrate with my friend and brother, Comrade Adams Aliu Oshiomhole, on the occasion of his 71st birthday. Comrade Oshiomhole is a man of courage who made his mark as labour leader, Edo governor and party leader.”
