Reno Omokri has said, 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, “is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal”.

Omokri is of the belief that “even if the Tribunal orders a rerun, he will get less votes than he did on February 25, 2023”.
2023 Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, discomfited Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP); alongside other Presidential candidates of other Political Parties, to emerge Nigeria’s President-elect.
Tinubu was announced winner of the tightly-contested 2023 Presidential election by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
However, former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, after the announcement of Tinubu as winner, said, “we won the election and we will prove it”.
Labour Party recently shared a copy of the 2023 Presidential Election Petition where Peter Obi and the Labour Party (LP) were stated as the ‘Petitioners’ and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Shettima Kashim and All Progressives Congress (APC) as ‘Respondents’.
Reno Omokri said: “Seriously, Peter Obi is wasting his time at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. As things stand, even if the Tribunal orders a rerun, he will get less votes than he did on February 25, 2023. Not only has he destroyed himself, he has set back his region!”
