2023 Elections: Attackers of INEC Commissioner Prof. Zuru ‘mist not go unpunished’ – Ahmad

According to Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant on Digital Communication to President Muhammadu Buhari, INEC Commissioner, Prof. A. A. Zuru was attacked in Adamawa State during the recently conducted 2023 Supplementary Elections.

Prof. Zuru, one of the Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was dispatched to Adamawa State to supervise the Supplementary election in the Northeastern State.

Ahmad called for the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators, adding they “must not go unpunished”.

He said: “The attack on Prof. A.A. Zuru, one of the INEC commissioners sent to Adamawa state to supervise the supplementary election in the state, should be condemned by all and must also not go unpunished. The perpetrators have to be arrested and prosecuted.”
