The Minister disclosed his participation at the event and went on to tell the essence of the meeting, saying, to reaffirm the “commitment of members to reinvigorate the regional alliance to collectively address challenges confronting the Zone”.
He further disclosed he “delivered our national statement”.
Onyeama said: “Participated in the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone (SAPCZ) held in Mindelo, Sao Vincete, Republic of Cape Verde. The meeting, among other things, reaffirmed the commitment of members to reinvigorate the regional alliance …
“…to collectively address challenges confronting the Zone and adopted the Mindelo Declaration and Mindelo Plan of Action. I delivered our national statement.”
